Poly PU is a waterproof, scratch-resistant material with a PU-leather look and “PU touch” feel — but it’s actually a fabric base engineered for dye sublimation and heat transfer. It’s an excellent choice for outdoor-use products where water resistance matters.

A short story behind Poly PU
The original idea came from a UK customer, Nigel, who runs a small business with his daughter (a professional graphic designer). They were selling large volumes of linen cushion covers with her artwork and asked a simple question: could we create a fabric product that’s as affordable as fabric, but waterproof — so it can be used outdoors?
We spent two years testing materials to find something that’s waterproof, can handle sublimation temperatures, and maintains colour without fading. After constant trials and quality testing, the Poly PU series was created.

Printing tips for Poly PU
Preheating
Preheating is recommended to evaporate moisture and help prevent any blurring or softness in the final print. During preheating, keep the print side facing up.
